Tree Trimming

Tree limbs or branches that are in or near to power lines can cause disruptions or damage to BEC’s Electrical System. BEC is authorized to prune, trim and cut trees or shrubs that are disruptive to power lines. If trees do not pose a danger to the electricity lines, it is the responsibility of the owner to have the trees trimmed.

If you wish, you may report to BEC a power line that is entangled or has tree branches that are nearby. We will ensure that your report is investigated and prioritized accordingly.
