National Spelling Bee Sponsor

The Bahamas Electricity Corporation contributes to a number of charitable organizations and remains a corporate sponsor to many non-profit organizations. We are committed to giving back to our community, and in 2006, began co-sponsorship of the Annual Bahamas National Spelling Bee Competition, an event geared to ensure that the intellectual gains of the Bahamas' youth are highlighted as they are challenged to expand their vocabulary and master both new and difficult words.
