The Engineer in Training Program is a post graduate training exercise for newly employed engineers into the service of Bahamas Electricity Corporation. The program is intended to provide as wide as possible exposure to the operations procedures, standards and business of BEC while enhancing some engineering skills.
The program is a 2-year program which is segmented in two parts. A rotation placement throughout BEC and the other is a concentrated directed objective training project. Completing the program allows the candidate to be placed in a substantive post within the organization as well as it may assist in the candidate obtaining a charted engineers status.
